Civil Society Report on the implementation of Chapter II (Prevention) & Chapter V (Asset Recovery) of the United Nations Convention Against Corruption in Brazil
This report reviews Brazil’s implementation of selected articles from Chapter II (Preventive Measures) and Chapter V (Asset Recovery) of the UNCAC. The report is intended to be a contribution to the ongoing UNCAC implementation review process covering these chapters. Brazil was selected by the UNCAC Implementation Review Group by drawing lots for review in the fourth year of the second cycle. This independent report was shared with the Brazilian government, which formally passed it on to the evaluating countries and to the United Nations (UN) in order to collaborate with the evaluation process.
